I am a pediatric nurse, educated and licensed in Germany. During my education I gathered experience in labor & delivery, postpartum care and worked extensively with healthy newborns and premature babies. Currently, I have the honor to be President of the Austin Childbirth Educator Association.  Also, being a Certified Doula (CD, DONA), an active Member of Doula of North America (DONA) and a breastfeeding educator through the Texas Department of Health ensures that you will receive the best possible care.  In order to understand different childbirth classes, I attend Bradley Method and Lamaze classes. Pregnancy and Childbirth in one of the most transforming experiences in your life.  Its energy and impact on your life cannot be underestimated.  I believe that it is important to make the transition as gentle and informed as possible.
